A Tornado Watch has been issued for counties in our area: Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Haywood, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, Obion, Shelby, Tipton, and Weakley counties from now through 9 p.m. tonight.
A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for thunderstorms producing tornadoes, but tornadoes are still not guaranteed. Hail and strong winds are also possible.
