Paris, Tenn.—The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is in the home stretch now, with only a handful of days left for this year. Today, the Springville community, Paris Healthcare, Henry Co. Republican Party, Doghouse Rescue and World’s Biggest Fish Fry raised $4,313, bringing the grand total to $264,958.
Saturday is the last big day for the auction, with the Tennessee Valley Community Church set to donate items. The auction begins at noon and will continue several hours during the afternoon.
Helping Hand raises money each year for a long list of non-profit and service organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised and it is organized totally by volunteers.
Helping Hand is held at the Enoch Building at the fairgrounds and is broadcast live over our radio stations. The daily auctions begin at 12:30 p.m. and are aired on WTPR 710 AM.

Monday: India community, Open Doors Community Church, Henry County Girl Scouts, Henry County Saddle Club, WRAP.
Tuesday: Lakeway Village.
Wednesday: Open to Anyone Day. Anyone who wants to donate on this day is asked to call Sharon Kummerow at 593-0077.
