Union City, Tenn.—Heavy rainfall has flooded Graham Park in Union City, with most of the areas including tennis courts and ball fields underwater this morning. Robin Francis of Union City Turf Management said, “There’s not any real damage that we can see so far. We do have dormant sod down and it may float off” with more rain. “This will be a good test of the new drainage system, which is phase one, designed by the engineering firm TLM.” With even more rain expected over the weekend, Francis said, “We’ll be further assessing the situation as the day and rain continues.” (Robin Francis photos).
