Several Races In Offing For Carroll County

 
 
 
Huntingdon, Tenn.—Long-time Carroll County Mayor Kenny McBride will be faced with challengers for that office.
 
McBride is running as an Independent, as is T. Richard Goodwin. Two men are running as Republicans for the office: Joseph Butler and Tim Pratt.
 
Butler and Pratt will face off in a first-ever Republican primary on May 1 and only one will be on the August 1 general election ballot for that seat.
 
Circuit Court Clerk Bertha Taylor, running as a Democrat, will face challenges from Tracie McCormick, Independent, and Sara Bradberry, Republican.
 
Incumbent Register of Deeds Natalie McCullough Porter, Democrat, will face Harold Smith, Independent.
 
Property Assessort Rita Jones will face challengers from Republicans Sandi Stafford Roditis and Bart Smith.
 
Three county officials will have no opposition: Sheriff Andy Dickson, County Clerk Darlene Kirk, County Trustee Paula Bolen.
