Another Threat Made At Westview High

Martin, Tenn.—A second juvenile has been cited for making a false threat of violence at Westview High School in Martin.
 
Police Chief Don Teal said another threat was made at the school today. The threat was written on a bathroom wall and investigators successfully identified the juvenile suspect.
 
The incident began around 11:20 a.m. today when School Resource Officer Jason Arant was notified of a threat written on a bathroom wall. According to the police report, the threat of violence against the school was written on the boys’ bathroom wall in B hall.
 
The juvenile was identified at 2:30 p.m. and admitted to committing the offense, Teal said.
 
The 17-year-old will be charged with making a false report and will be suspended.
 
Earlier this week, another juvenile was removed from school for also making a threat.
