Paris, Tenn.—With one week left to go, the grand total raised by the Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction is now at $248,693. A total $5,345 was raised Tuesday by Paris city employees, the Como community, Paris BPU, and Project Help.
Helping Hand raises money each year for a long list of non-profit and service organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised and it is organized totally by volunteers.
Helping Hand is held at the Enoch Building at the fairgrounds and is broadcast live over our radio stations. The daily auctions begin at 12:30 p.m. and are aired on WTPR 710 AM.
The schedule for the rest of the week:
Wednesday: Van Dyke/Routon communities; Spring Hill Baptist Church; Van Dyke Church of Christ.
Thursday: Maplewood Baptist Church; Grace Episcopal Church, Peppers Automotive.
Friday: Springville community, Paris Healthcare, Henry Co. Republican Party, Doghouse Rescue, World’s Biggest Fish Fry.
Saturday: TVCC.
