Paris, Tenn.—Paris-Henry County Chamber Director Travis McLeese announced today that Keisha Norwood has been hired as the new Executive Assistant.
Norwood’s first day on the job will be February 27 and she will be welcomed to everyone at a Chamber Coffee at 8 a.m. that morning at Merison’s.
Norwood is a graduate of American Public University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Meeting and Event Planning. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing through Columbia Southern University.
Keisha has owned and operated a professional wedding and event planning business for a combined 15 years and executed approximately 2000 weddings and 800 corporate events along with other custom events. She has served a variety of professional roles including Administrative Director of Financial Affairs and Executive Assistant to Chief Financial Officer and Vice President.
Keisha and her husband John, along with their four children, reside in Springville, Tennessee. John is the Director of Recruitment and Admissions at Bethel University and serves as an adjunct facilitator for Bethel University and Southern New Hampshire University. Three of their four children attend schools within the Paris Special School District and the fourth (the oldest) is a junior at Henry County High School and a member of the Madrigals. All four children also serve as volunteers and attend the R.E.A.L. Hope Youth Center in Paris.
