HC Sheriff’s Office Performs Random Acts Of Kindness

Paris, Tenn.—Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew and Chief Deputy Damon Lowe—along with other deputies in the department–were busy today making traffic stops but not for the reasons you would think.

Because this week is “Random Acts of Kindness Week”, motorists all across Henry County were stopped for positive reasons. Sheriff Monte Belew told WENK/WTPR Friday morning that officers would be stopping people for “doing the right thing”, such as wearing their seat belts, obeying the speed limit and using their turn signals.

Partnering with the Paris McDonald’s, the sheriff’s office thanked everyone for doing the right thing and gave drivers gift cards for a free meal of breakfast, lunch or dinner at McDonald’s, located on Mineral Wells Ave.

McDonald’s in Paris said they were “lovin it” that they were able to partner with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in sharing these acts of kindness.
