Benton, Ky.—The juvenile suspect in last month’s school shooting in Marshall County is tentatively scheduled for arraignment Friday. The case against the 15-year-old was presented to the Marshall County Grand Jury on Tuesday.
Prosecutors have asked that the case be moved to the county’s Circuit Court and that the suspect be tried as an adult.
The suspect is accused of killing two students and injuring a dozen others in the shooting at the school on January 23.
The arraignment is tentatively set for 1 p.m. Friday. The suspect has been charged with two counts of murder and 12 counts of first-degree assault.
