Union City, Tenn.—Two hay rings were stolen from the Obion Farmers’ Co-op over the weekend and Union City Police are investigating.
Police were called to the business on Mt. Zion Rd. Sunday on a report that the lock had been cut off and the front gate was open. Preliminary investigation by Co-op managers showed that two gas trucks were gotten into and the phone chargers stolen from each.
When the Co-op managers looked around further, they determined that two Super Heavy Duty Hay Rings were stolen: one a 6 foot red T post and the other a 6 foot green T post.
Police will be calling salvage yards to see if someone brought them there for cash.
