Big Sandy, Tenn.—“On The Road With Partners in the Struggle” will be traveling from Big Sandy to Paris Saturday to unite with murdered victims’ families and honor murdered victims. They will be traveling with family members of Sonny Melton of Big Sandy, who was killed in the Las Vegas Massacre. Melton was a nurse at Henry County Medical Center. The group will start from Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Big Sandy at 9 a.m. A program will be held at HCMC in Paris at noon, at which the group will present plaques to Melton’s wife, Heather, his parents and brother. Guest speakers are Tika Begley and Talia Monget-Simmons.
