Marijuana In Laundry Basket Leads To Charges

Dresden, Tenn.—A large amount of marijuana in a laundry basket led to drug charges during a traffic stop in Dresden Tuesday.
Weakley County Deputy Neil Cantrell stopped a gray Honda Accord for speeding on Hwy. 22 and in speaking with the driver, he detected an odor he knew to be marijuana.
When asked about the odor, the driver acknowledged he had marijuana in his laundry basket in the back seat. The marijuana was wrapped in a large plastic bag and weighed 35 grams.
The driver, Kingsley Nmoh, was charged with possession.
