Union City, Tenn.—Retired USDA Rural Development State Director Bobby Goode has been named interim manager of the Everett-Stewart Regional Airport in Union City.
Long-time Airport Manager JoAnn Speer had tendered her resignation and the airport board conducted a special meeting to name an interim replacement. Speer is resigning to accept another job. Her last day will be Friday.
Goode retired in 2017 after 38 years with the USDA.
