HCMC Asking Public To Limit Visits

Paris, Tenn.—Due to the serious flu outbreak locally, the Henry County Medical Center is again asking visitors to limit their visits to the hospital.
According to a press release from the hospital, the CDC is asking facilities to evaluate their visitation practices to ensure that facilities are limiting the spread of the Influenza during this peak of the flu season.
“The following recommendations were made in order to protect our community members, patients, and staff from this highly contagious virus,” according to hospital officials: Limit your visitation if you are under 12 years old; have nausea, vomiting or diarrhea in the last 12 hours or have cough or sinus drainage (you must wear a mask).
