Paris, Tenn.—The Helping Hand Radio Auction grand total is now $111,865, with the $2,421 raised today by New Harmony Baptist Church, the Heritage Center, Sparks Street Church of Christ, HCHS Band Boosters and Color Guard, and Inman Band
Each year, thousands of dollars are raised by volunteers for a long list of non-profit organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised by Helping Hand.
This week’s schedule:
Tuesday: First Presbytrian Church, New Boston community, Seventh Day Adventist Church and Joe Mahan Ford.
Wednesday: Mansfield community, Christ Lutheran, Carl Perkins Center and Johnson Chapel.
Thursday, Feb. 1: Buchanan community, Lakewood Beta Club, Henry County Democratic Women, Crusaders Travel Basketball.
Friday: Holy Cross Catholic Church, Chapel Hill/Guthrie Road, Last Mango in Paris Parrothead Club, TARP Center for Independent Living.
Saturday: First United Methodist Church.
The afternoon auction begins at noon and will be aired on WTPR-AM 710. The night auction will be aired at KQ 105.5 and begins at 6:30 p.m.
Helping Hand will run through February 28 and is held each day at the Henry County Fairgrounds. The Helping Hand Radio Auction is broadcast daily on WTPR AM 710 beginning at 12:30 p.m., and on Saturdays at noon.
