Martin, Tenn.—A Martin man was arrested on drug and evading arrest charges after being found with over a pound of marijuana and several pills.
Aubrey Paschall of 411 Travis Road was charged with the manufacture and sale of marijuana, evading arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of Schedule 4 drugs with intent to sell.
Weakley County Deputy Chris Crocker went to 411 Travis Rd. to serve an arrest warrant and spotted Paschall look out the window and take off running toward the rear of the apartment. Crocker ran to the back of the apartment and found that door open and heard someone running through the wooded area.
When Deputy Crocker ran into the woods, he found Paschall lying in the woods, hiding with a backpack in his possession. Crocker asked him what was in the backpack and Paschall said marijuana. Crocker looked in the pack and found a glass pipe, sandwich bags used to package marijuana, marijuana wrapped in individual bags and money.
Paschall asked if he could go back in the house to put his dog up before he was taken to jail and inside the apartment in plain view, Crocker found another bag of marijuana, a bottle with eight Xanax and six Clonazepam pills A total of 1.16 pounds of marijuana was found, along with $1,688 in currency.
