McKenzie, Tenn.—Jan Latimer, TCAT Student Services Coordinator in Paris, has been appointed to the McKenzie Special School Board. Latimer lives in McKenzie and will be sworn in at the February 8 meeting.
Latimer was appointed at a special meeting of the board, called to address the vacancy left by the recent resignation of Brad Davis. Davis had moved into the Weakley Co. portion of McKenzie and could no longer serve on the McKenzie school board.
Latimer has worked at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Paris for some time. The board position will be on the ballot in the August election.
