Helping Hand Moving Closer To $100,000

 
 
Paris, Tenn.—The Helping Hand Radio Auction is moving ever so close to the $100,000 mark. With today’s $3,424, the grand total for Helping Hand is now at $91,881.
 
Today’s items were donated by the Puryear community, Harrelson Beta Club, Office on Aging and Northwest Nutrition.
 
Helping Hand will run through February 28 and is held each day at the Henry County Fairgrounds. The Helping Hand Radio Auction is broadcast daily on WTPR AM 710 beginning at 12:30 p.m., and on Saturdays at noon. Auction phone is 644 1695.
 
Each year, thousands of dollars are raised by volunteers for a long list of non-profit organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised by Helping Hand.
 
Friday’s items will be donated by the Palestine community, Central Point community, First Church of the Nazarene and the Bridge of Hope Church.
 
Saturday, January 27 is Educator’s Day.
