Paris, Tenn.–The Historic Atkins-Porter Neighborhood Association is hosting a Valentine Dinner and Live Auction fundraiser on Tuesday, February, 14, at the Old Paris 5 & 10 – An Event Center at 110 West Washington Street in downtown Paris.
Proceeds from the French country dinner will benefit the construction of the planned Atkins-Porter Community Park at 311 Jackson Street.
The inaugural event features hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and music at 6:30 pm, followed by a three-course French dinner at 7 p.m. and assorted, freshly made desserts. After-dinner entertainer Bob Valentine promises tales of Valentines past. Auctioneer Junior Staggs will complete the evening with a brief live auction. Auction items include an Up-Up in the Air Plane Ride, Six-Months of Kelli’s Fancy Breads, a Festive Pontoon Boat Trip & Historic Tour on the Tennessee River, a hand pieced, locally made quilt and more.
