Paris, Tenn.—The Helping Hand Radio Auction has now raised a grand total of $88,454, with the $2,805 raised today by the Jones Mill/Hico community, Morningside of Paris, Tennessee River Fine Arts League and Kroger.
Helping Hand will run through February 28 and is held each day at the Henry County Fairgrounds. The Helping Hand Radio Auction is broadcast daily on WTPR AM 710 beginning at 12:30 p.m., and on Saturdays at noon. Auction phone is 644 1695.
Each year, thousands of dollars are raised by volunteers for a long list of non-profit organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised by Helping Hand.
Thursday’s items will be donated by the Puryear community, Harrelson Beta Club, Office on Aging and Northwest Nutrition.
Friday’s items will be donated by the Palestine community, Central Point community, First Church of the Nazarene and the Bridge of Hope Church.
Saturday, January 27 is Educator’s Day.
