Paris, Tenn.— The grand total raised so far in the Henry County Radio Auction is at $67,848, with the $3,101 raised today by the county government employees, Trinity United Methodist Church, Master Gardeners and the Paris-Henry County Arts Council.
Helping Hand will run through February 28 and is held each day at the Henry County Fairgrounds. The Helping Hand Radio Auction is broadcast daily on WTPR AM 710 beginning at 12:30 p.m., and on Saturdays at noon. Auction phone is 644 1695.
Each year, thousands of dollars are raised by volunteers for a long list of non-profit organizations in the county. Last year, over $350,000 was raised by Helping Hand.
Tuesday’s items will be donated by the Cottage Grove community, Center community and Interrail Signal.
On Wednesday, items will be donated by Jones Mill/Hico community, Morningside of Paris, Tennessee River Fine Arts League and Kroger.
Thursday’s items will be donated by the Puryear community, Harrelson Beta Club, Office on Aging and Northwest Nutrition.
Friday’s items will be donated by the Palestine community, Central Point community, First Church of the Nazarene and the Bridge of Hope Church.
Saturday, January 27 is Educator’s Day.
