Monday’s Martin Luther King Day Activities in Paris have been cancelled and-or altered because of treacherous conditions on sidewalks, building entrances and on the roads.
The prayer breakfast and march have been cancelled altogether. However, the program which was to have been held at the courthouse will now be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Irvine Street at noon.
Meanwhile, in Murray, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Candlelight Vigil and March scheduled for Sunday evening (tonight) is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Breakfast and Day of Service activities, scheduled to be held at the Curris Center on Monday, January 15, have been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. Information regarding a rescheduled date will be provided once confirmed.
