US 45 at the edge of Fulton is blocked by downed trees and power lines.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says US 45 is blocked between KY 307 and KY 94 to allow crews to clear a large downed tree and repair power lines that came down with it.
This area is near the Hickman County line, between Water Valley and Fulton.
Todd says the highway is expected to be blocked for several hours.
