Paris, Tenn.—Paris City Street Department employees were busy plowing and spreading brine in Whitehall Circle this morning. City workers have been blading and salting main streets and spreading brine on the secondary streets today as a winter weather advisory continues all day. Sleet turned into snow, which was coming down hard at mid-morning. All law enforcement agencies have cautioned everyone to stay off the streets unless absolutely necessary, but police and deputies have still be busy with wrecks.
