Paris, Tenn.–Due to the threat of ice and snow early tomorrow morning, Paris city officials have decided to delay the opening of City Hall until 9 a.m. City Manager Kim Foster said, “This will give us time to evaluate the situation in the morning before making a determination of whether or not to close for the entire day. The last thing we want to do is cause our employees, most of which live in the county, to get on the roads just as the winter weather hits. I will let you know as soon as we make a final determination on whether or not we will remain closed all day tomorrow. As a reminder, City Hall will be closed on Monday in observance of MLK Day. As always, emergency services will not be affected by this closing.”
