Mayfield, Ky. – Kentucky State Police have determined there is not an explosive device inside the Graves County Courthouse. All surrounding streets have been re-opened to normal traffic flow. The Courthouse will open at the regularly scheduled time.

Mayfield, Ky. – Kentucky State Police are on scene at the Graves County Courthouse investigating an overnight bomb threat.
Around 5 a.m. today, an arrest was made and Graves County deputies and KSP troopers were still on the scene this morning trying to determine if an explosive device is indeed inside the building.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., KSP Post 1 Dispatch received a call from a local crisis hotline worker. The worker reported a male had told their agency he had placed a bomb inside the courthouse.
Troopers have secured the area immediately around the courthouse and are awaiting the arrival of special resources to determine if in fact there is an explosive device inside the building. The roadways and area immediately around the courthouse have been shut down until further notice.
Preliminary investigation has led to the arrest of Robin M. Farley, age 55, of Mayfield, Kentucky. Mr. Farley was taken into custody at approximately 5:00 a.m. and charged with First Degree Terroristic Threatening, First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
