Body Of Missing Angler Found

 
 
Lake Okeechobee, Fla.—The body of the angler who has been missing since last Thursday was found Wednesday morning near Clewiston, Fla.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission confirmed that the body of Nik Kayler from Apopka had been found. Kayler was 38 and was competing in the FLW three-day Costa Series bass fishing tournament.
A commercial vessel found Kayler. He was flung overboard into Lake Okeechobee as he and another fishermen were competing. His fishing partner, Bill Kisiah, 51, from Slidell, La., was found later that afternoon and taken to the hospital, where he has been treated.
The family of Kayler had posted a $10,000 reward for his recovery.
The FLW Costa Series competes on Kentucky Lake.
