Marshall County, Kentucky—An escaped Marshall County Jail inmate who has been sought since early December was located Saturday hiding in a closet in Graves County.
Jeremy Meadows, age 27, whose last known address was Water Valley, Kentucky, was located and arrested by the Kentucky State Police and Graves County Sheriff’s Office hiding in a closet at a residence at Highway 408 East. Meadows was charged with second-degree escape and taken to the Graves County Jail.
During the course of the month-long investigation into his whereabouts, the KSP earlier arrested Tammy Lamb, age 44, of Murray, and charged her with helping Meadows escape. The Chevy SUV that picked up Meadows during his escape had been located at a residence on Ledbetter Road in Calloway County and Lamb was taken into custody, charged with second degree escape.
