Murray Man Arrested On Cocaine Charge

Paris, Tenn.—A Murray man was arrested on drug charges after he threw a baggie full of cocaine out of his car window during a traffic stop with a Henry County Sheriff’s deputy.
 
Stanjuan J. Lee, age 38, of Murray, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell; simple possession of marijuana and driving with no tail light.
 
Lee was northbound on Hwy. 641 N in Puryear when Deputy Dalton Watson attempted to stop him on the light violation. According to the report, before Lee pulled into a church parking lot, Watson saw the baggie being thrown out of the car.
 
During the stop, Lee did hand over a baggie containing marijuana and Watson found three other empty baggies in the car. Watson then went back to the spot where the other baggie had been thrown and found it contained 6.6. grams of cocaine.
 
Lee’s bond was set at $20,000.
