Union City, Tenn.—Union City Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle that had been left on while the resident went back inside to grab his lunch.
Police were called to 1012 S. Third St. at 6:13 a.m. Saturday on the report of the theft. The resident of the house said he had gone outside and started the 2002 red GMC Envoy and came back into the house to grab his lunch and when he went back outside, the vehicle was gone.
The missing vehicle has been entered into NCIC.
