Huntingdon, Tenn.—Two people were arrested and drugs, including meth, were found at a residence in Huntingdon Friday.
Huntingdon Police Drug Investigator Joey Hedge received information that drugs were being sold at 154 Drew Court, a public housing project, and he received information that a person who was staying at the residence had felony drug convictions and was not allowed to live there.
Hedge, along with Officers Cody Walker and Michael Sevarns, went to the residence and advised the individual with the felony drug history to leave and to not be back in the housing project.
The person renting the apartment, Arthur Wesley Campbell, gave officers permission to search the residence. Inside the residence officers found a bag containing approximately 13 grams of methamphetamine, two syringes, two small bags of marijuana, two xanax bars and digital scales.
A female present at the residence, Brittany Trevathan, gave consent to search her purse and in it officers found a small bag of marijuana and a used syringe. Mr. Campbell was charged with felony possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to resell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms Trevathan was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
