TBI Releases More Details On Dyer Co. Police Shootings

Newbern, Tenn.–At the request of 29th District Attorney General Danny Goodman, TBI Agents are investigating the shooting of two police officers that occurred in the early morning hours on January 1st in Newbern. One civilian also was injured.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. at Douglas Café (aka “Betty’s”) at 114 Smith Street in Newbern.
