Mayfield, Kentucky—A Mayfield man is awaiting extradition to Tennessee to face charges in connection with the armed robbery at a convenience store in Martin on Christmas Eve.
Zachery R. McClure, age 22, is in a Kentucky jail after his arrest by the Kentucky State Police for aggravated robbery and theft of property.
McClure is accused of the armed robbery at Huck’s Convenience Store at 424 N. Lindell St. around 5 a.m. Sunday morning. McClure is alleged to have brandished a handgun and demanded money before leaving the store with an undetermined amount of cash.
McClure was quickly identified as the suspect by Martin Police and an arrest warrant was issued.
