Renovated McDonald’s To Feature More Choices, New Play Area

Paris, Tenn.—As most are aware, the local McDonald’s Restaurant in Paris, is currently undergoing a major renovation.  The restaurant located at 1019 Mineral Wells Avenue, will invite guests to experience updates to the restaurant, in an effort to showcase a new level of choice, engagement and service. Additional employees will be added to the new restaurant when it is complete.

The restaurant will feature five Customer Kiosks where customers can place their order at their own pace, sit down after they order and then have their order served to them directly at their table. It also will feature a new Play Place for children.

This new restaurant model has been successfully rolled out in more than 2,800 restaurants globally and, as of December 2017, 1,200 McDonald’s restaurants nationally.

McDonald’s is placing a strong emphasis on hospitality by focusing on greeting customers, assisting with the new technology and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.

Through this technology, McDonald’s is putting more choice and control in the hands of guests by improving how they order, what they order, how they pay and how they are served.

“We will be hiring more people because when you look at it, this is not just about the technology.  We will have people to assist you with the kiosk but also to deliver your order to the table.

It’s table service.” said Chris Grant, Executive Vice President of Operations. McDonald’s of Paris is owned and operated by Kristine Kenworthy who operates nine restaurants in Henry and surrounding counties.

Guests can be the first to experience new in-restaurant features, including:

  • Five New digital self-order kiosks for those looking to browse the menu and order

at their own pace

  • Table service where the restaurant staff brings your order directly to your table

  • Mobile Ordering and Payment which allows customers to order and pay directly from their smart phone.

  • A newly renovated Play Place and modern décor throughout the restaurant

The McDonald’s renovations should be completed by Mid-January.  Meanwhile, the restaurant’s Drive Thru will remain open 24 hours a day to continue to serve our customers during the renovations.
