Paris, Tenn.–A juvenile attending alternative school has been charged in reference to another school shooting threat in Henry County.
According to Henry County Sheriff’s Captain Adam Jenkins, the juvenile made statements to other classmates that he was going to bring a gun to school and shoot a student as well as others.
Once the call was received by the Sheriff’s Office, Deputies as well as School Resource Officer Sgt. Buford Taylor immediately responded to the school and spoke to the juvenile. A subsequent search was done and there was no gun found. The juvenile will be charged with committing a delinquent act and will appear in juvenile court.
