Union City, Tenn.—The Union City High School Golden Tornadoes were welcomed home last night by a large crowd and a police escort to congratulate them on their Class 2A State Championship win earlier Friday. A public reception for the team will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the high school gym. The Tornadoes’ win represents the fourth time the school has won a state football championship.
