McKenzie, Tenn.—The head football coach at Bethel University in McKenzie has been relieved of duties, according to a press release issued by the school.
Director of Sports Information Dave McCulley said in the press release that Head Football Coach Chris Elliott has been relieved of his duties. The release did not specify a reason for the action.
“We wish Coach Elliott the very best,” Bethel University Director of Athletics Dale Kelley said. “We also thank him for his services and commitment to our program and the positive impact he has made on our student athletes at Bethel University.”
