Advent Walk Is Set For Wednesday

Paris, Tenn.—Another sure sign of the Christmas season, the annual CandlelightAdvent Walk will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, beginning at the Henry County Courthouse in downtown Paris.
The annual Advent walk takes worshippers from church to church in the downtown area to usher in the Advent season. The event is sponsored by the Downtown Paris Association and the participating churches. The DPA provides the candles.

As it did last year, the event will begin with a welcome outside on the courthouse steps before moving on from church to chuch. This year, the welcome will include First Baptist Church Minister Rev. Trent Bullock and Grace Episcopal Church Minister Rev. Dorothy Hartzog.
The first church on the Advent Walk will be First Baptist Church, with the final church to be Quinn Chapel AME where the choir will sing and Brother John Dandridge will present the Benediction.
