Union City, Tenn.—The 12-year-old girl who was missing from Union City has been found in Mississippi and the people she was with are in custody there, according to Union City Police Chief Perry Barfield.
Barfield told WENK/WTPR around 3:40 p.m. Saturday that the girl had been located some 20 minutes before in McComb, Mississippi.
Damaris Siguin-Soto had last been seen around 4:30 p.m. Friday in Union City in the South First Street area. She is 12 years old, 3’6” tall and weighs 130 pounds.
Barfield said charges are pending against the people she was with. “We’re not sure if this is an abduction or she went along willfully, but she’s 12 years old and they’re adults, so they’re in custody,” he said.
