Paris, Tenn.—The schedule for the Helping Hand Radio Auction 2018 has been released, with this year’s event to begin January 8 and run through February 28. Auctioneers this year will be Fred McLean, Cindy Snyder, Doug Taylor, Ray Compton, Noel Hatman, Junior Staggs and Bill McCutcheon.
Each year, dozens of community groups donate, bake and make items for the auction, which benefits a long list of local non-profit organizations.
The auction is held in the Enoch Building at the Henry County Fairgrounds and is broadcast daily over WTPR-AM 710. For Saturday evening auctions, it is broadcast on KQ 105.5
Groups that will be donating and preparing items for the first day, January 8, will be Lakeway Kiwanis, Paris Lions Club and Paris Lioness Club.
The Helping Hand schedules are distributed widely at local businesses as the time for the auction to begin nears. Auction phone is 644 1695. More information will be posted around the first of the year.
