Union City, Tenn.—Union City Police are investigating the theft that occurred at a deceased man’s residence.
According to the police report, the daughter of the man who died said she went to her father’s house to pick up things he had left her and found that a gold ring, gold watch and $2,000 in cash were missing.
The theft occurred at 724 N. 5th St. She said her father died November 4, but was not found until November 7.
The gold ring has DVS engraved and the gold watch has a Campbell Soup symbol on the back.
