The Union City Tornadoes will be moving on to the TSSAA semi-finals with their win over Trenton Peabody Friday night. Despite a strong push in the final quarters by the Henry County Patriots to overcome a half-time deficit, the Patriots were defeated by Brighton.
Another strong contender—Huntingdon—was defeated by one point by Cornersville after two overtimes.
