Paris, Tenn.—A Puryear man was cited by Paris Police on drug charges after he crashed his truck into the fence near the big catfish sign at the intersection of Tyson Avenue and Veterans’ Drive Wednesday evening.
Arrested was Nathan Robert Jordan, age 20, of 9595 Hwy. 641N, on charges of possession of meth with intent to sell and with possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
According to the Paris Police report, Jordan hit the chain link fence with his pickup truck and while questioning Jordan after the crash, Lt. Ean Reed saw a plastic box with a syringe in it on the front seat. In further search, Reed found a plastic baggie with 1.2 grams of meth in it and a pair of scales.
