Union City, Tenn.–Main Street Union City will present the 2017 Community Christmas Tree Lighting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 30th at the Obion County Courthouse with the Christmas Parade following at 7 p.m. in downtown Union City.
Master of Ceremonies will be Joe Ward and invocation delivered by Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church Pastor Glenn Watts.
Entertainment will be provided by Obion County Children’s Chorus, Union City Elementary Chorus Kids and Voices of UCES. Christmas ornament winners from area schools will decorate the tree followed by 2017 Pride of Obion County, Mike Cox and Dominic Burnside lighting the tree.
Santa will be arriving downtown at 4 p.m. for a great photo opportunity in front of the Post Office. Just look for his sleigh.
Pope’s Concessions will be set up in Merchants Park serving delicious food throughout the day beginning at 11 a.m. and throughout the Christmas parade!
