Bowling Green, Ky.—The Lakewood School Speech Team placed second overall at the Vette City Classic at Bowling Green High School Saturday and 13 of its students were finalists. Ella Seaton placed first in Broadcasting, Poetry and Solo Acting.
Other prizes went to:
Taylor Boase – 2nd place in Oratory and 2nd place in Impromptu Speaking.
Abby Reed – 2nd place in Broadcasting.
Skylar Wilson – 2nd place in Prose.
Trinity Boase – 5th place in Storytelling.
Suzie Chau – 4th place in Poetry.
McKenna Dyche – 5th place in Poetry.
McKenna White – 3rd place in Oratory.
Jack Kibbler – 5th place in Prose and 7th place in Poetry.
David Hill/Preston Pooler – 7th place in Duo Acting.
Isaac Tyler – 7th place Declamation.
