Dresden, Tenn.—The city of Dresden has appointed Steve Howe as the new police chief. Howe has been an officer with the Dresden Police for several years and has been both an investigator and assistant chief.
Long-time Chief Randal Walker retired recently.
At Monday night’s meeting of the city board, Mayor Jeff Washburn also announced that a Sonic restaurant will be opening there. He said it will be located on Hwy. 22 and plans are for it to open in spring 2018.
