Camden, Tenn.–Threats of potential school violence in the Benton County School System have been turned over to law enforcement.
Director of Schools Mark Florence issued the following statement on the County School’s Facebook page around 11:10 a.m. today:
“Allegations of potential school violence have been brought to the attention of Benton County Schools’ administrators. The situation has been turned over to law enforcement and has been investigated.
“Based on information received, we have no reason to believe that any school, students, or staff are in danger”.
