Paris, Tenn.—A Cemetery Preservation Demo will be held at Palestine Cemetery this Saturday, Nov. 4, beginning at 1 p.m.
The Henry County Cemetery Committee members will be demonstrating simple techniques to clean and restore stones.
Committee Member Susan Stewart said Conservators Brent Brauer and Luka Barlic also will be on site to help with the demonstrations and answer any questions the public has concerning their family plots at Palestine or other cemeteries.
Committee members will have brushes and cleaner on site for people to learn the proper techniques of cleaning—just bring your own one gallon pail.
Stewart said all are welcome to come and learn.
