Henry, Tenn.—A machine shop at Repogle Enterprises in Henry was pretty much destroyed by a fire which Henry Volunteer Fire Department Chief Keith Qualls said appears to have been caused by a wood stove.
Qualls said firefighters were able to save a couple of additions that had been built onto the shop.
When firefighters arrived at 11:30 p.m. last night, flames were already visible, he said. The machine shop is located on Lumber Road. “We’re thinking it was a wood stove that caused it,” Qualls told WENK/WTPR this morning. “The wood stove is located in a lean-to building outside.”
Mutual aid was provided by Paris Firefighters, Qualls said.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 3 a.m.
