Troy, Tenn.—Obion County Central High School is congratulating Senior Matthew Carter, who achieved the almost impossible task of scoring a perfect 36 on the ACT.
High School Principal Greg Barclay told WENK/WTPR Tuesday afternoon, “This is a pretty big deal. I’ve never known anyone who scored a 36.”
Carter is from Hornbeak and the son of James and Laurie Tate. He is considering attending Rice University in Texas.
